OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT MARNIE MOORE!!!

This is a true honor--to post the congratulations for Marnie Moore. There are few males who enter our profession and so few still who are truly gifted with transcriptionist's skills--but here it is in Marnie. I met Marnie last month at the Buckeye Chapter Symposium. He was wearing a cowboy hat and clothes (dressed appropriately for the event!). We hugged each other as if we had been friends forever--ah, Marnie, it only seemed that way taking under consideration how long it took you to complete your program (hee hee!). No, actually, Marnie has done a terrific job and I am so very proud of his accomplishment. Marnie comes from an IT background, so he knows a great deal about computers and programs, and such, so it was my job to guide and teach him medical transcription.

Marnie, you are unique. Your ability to adapt to such a change in career, to learn all that you have and to be able to apply it when needed speaks volumes about your character, your determination, and steadfast resolve to take on this new career--especially as a 2nd career in light of your long IT career.

We all wish you the best of luck. I am sure that you will prove to be a huge asset to whichever company snaps you up first! Please come back to the message forums to let everyone know how things are going in your career and with the Buckeye chapter!
