Since 1994, our presenter, Kim Buchanan has worked for a small local service, owned her own service, taught medical transcription and terminology for a local community college, transcribed for a national service, and was a mentor at HealthScribe. She is the co-founder of her local chapter and was the AHDI President in 2005. She is now AHDI's Director of Education and Credentialing
 
CMT Review Guide – webinar

Betty Honkonen, President of AHDI 2008, will be presenting an overview of the content of the CMT Review Guide covering both parts I and II of the CMT Examination to include skills assessment exercises and how to avoid the pitfalls others have made during the testing process.
 
Betty Honkonen, CMT, FAAMT, author of the CMT Review Guide, served as President of the Greater Miami Chapter a total of four terms ending in 1995, served as President of FAMT in 1991, and is serving as the 2008 President for the AHDI Board of Directors. Honkonen graduated from Florida International University with a degree in Hospital Administration and was certified by examination.
