Hello Christie,

Welcome to M-TEC!

My brother and his family lived in VA for awhile when he was stationed in Norfolk. Small world!

Enjoy your studies. Everyone here is very helpful!

HI!!

You're not coming to Ft Leonard Wood by chance are you???? There's a reason they call it lost-in-the-woods, it gets pretty lonely out here if you are used to the big city. But it'd be great for me to have a fellow student to meet!

And we have something else in common, I grew up in Va Beach and miss it SO MUCH, I miss the salt water and the smell of the ocean in the morning. Oh my goodness I'm making myself homesick. And my family travels to Florida every Christmas, a small town called Hollister, near Gainesville and the University of FL.

I'm a relative newbie, waiting for my first "real" test to come back. I'm loving this course, I think the material is interesting and the PDs are fun, but then again I've always enjoyed anything that challenges my brain.

If you are coming to Ft Leonard Wood, let me know if you need any information or phone numbers, etc., I would be glad to help you out!

I hope I hear from you soon!

Hey there angelmom!

I am indeed coming to "lost in the woods"!   Due to arrive late Sept.  i am just finishing my first session, down to starting my first transcription.  On one hand I am proud of what I have managed to retain, but on the other hand I am scared that I've missed something BIG!  I am sure I am not alone in this realm!

I have family in the Ocala and Inverness areas, and visit about twice a year!  I admit that that will probably go down to once with hubby home for a change, but I am still happy that he will get a deployment break for at least two years.  We decided to go drill just for the break!  Twelve years and six deployments gets a bit redundant.

Hope your still there when I get there!  have a great day!]

Vic

I Love my MP!!
