| Hi everyone- I've been enrolled into M-TEC since March but haven't had the chance to introduce myself. I'm a mother to a fiesty 1-year-old. So, I sleep late and wake up early! I'm trying to find a balance between keeping up with my baby and finding some time to study. I love to read everyone's posts and I love all the study tips! Keep 'em coming! Happy studying everyone! Btw, any Northern Californians out there?!?

| Hi Joy, I enrolled this March as well, and I live in Vacaville, CA. Where do you live in N. California? Laurie

| Hi again Joy, American Canyon! Yes, we're practically neighbors. I live in Vacaville but work in Fairfield. I'm very happy with MTEC so far. I will begin the Session 5 practice dictations today. How are you doing? I am impressed with any moms out there who have little ones at home and can find the time to study! -Laurie

| Hi Laurie- I have to admit, it does take a lot to study & to keep up with my baby. It is a big obstacle! Although, I'm threading along. Wow, Session 5, congrats to you! Any tips that have helped you so far? I was hoping to be, at least, in session 3, but I'm not quite there yet. Happy studying!

| Hi Joy, Well Session 3 was a bear! You have probably read a few similar comments in the forum about that session but you will certainly learn a lot. Session 4 was so much easier and a lot of the rules started to click. I have finished Session 5 and am awaiting my test score...gulp Hopefully I did fairly well but you just never know! I started Session 6 and so far it is the most interesting, for me anyway. I enjoy learning about the gastrointestinal system Anyway, I study at least 2 hours every day on the weekdays after work, more so on the weekends. The practice dictations are so helpful, and I keep the session terminology words nearby for quick reference. I have found that if I want to take a day off, it's OK. I make up for it the next day or two. Good luck with your studies Joy! And enjoy this nice weather!
