"Ready...Set...GROW!" is the theme for our Michigan 2009 Student Appreciation Day.

I appreciate the chance we had to speak in Nashville during AHDI's Annual Convention and Expo.

Experienced transcriptionists are also invited to this event to support the student attendees and be available for questions. Continuing education credits are accepted by AHDI and AHIMA, as well, for those with RHIT or RHIA
status.

Please see attached agenda. Program also features special "student basket" raffle and used book sale.

Hi everyone,

Is anyone going to the September 19th Huron River Chapter meeting here in Michigan?  It would be great to be able to meet some fellow M-TEC students at the meeting, since I will be attending and learning about my next challenge as the chapter's secretary.  Hope to meet some of you there!!

I received an email from Rose Bledsoe from the Huron River Chapter regarding this Saturday's meeting.  They are still in need for a nominee for the position of President-Elect.  I know it probably sounds like big shoes to fill.  It is not a position that you would be thrown into but guided throughout.  I know I had the same feelings about volunteering for positions that I have no experience in but have had a change of heart after realizing that they will be guiding me and not just throwing me into the lion's den....so to speak.  If anyone is interested, please email Rose at rbledsoe@med.umich.edu

See you on Saturday!
