| Please join me in congratulating Robert Thorpe. Rob is one of our early 9-month students. He has been in the program 88 days. He just completed his Final Basic Exam from Session 12 with a score of 99%. His overall GPA for the program to date is 98%! Rob has made the commitment to his studies and he is to be commended for such an outstanding performance to date. He now has the Advanced Studies of the program to complete, and he will join the ranks of our M-TEC graduates. Congratulations Rob! Best of luck with the remainder of the course.

Wow!!!!! Way to go! Hard act to follow!!!!!!!
Concentrate on this Sentence > > 'To get something you never had, you have to do something > you never did.' When God takes something from your grasp, > He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to > receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence... > 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God > will not protect you.' Something good will happen to you > today; something that you have been waiting to hear. Angie Galphin Avery

Definitely outstanding! What an example --I'm sure both administration and students are glad to see it can be done. And done well. Congratulations on the excellent work, both diligence and quality.

| Can Rob give us some pointers? How many hours do you study per day/week? Do you have any study tips - flashcards, etc.? Also, are you using the equipment that was provided with your package or have you upgraded your sound card and or headphones, etc. Thanks, Rob. Congratulations. That is great, I'm jealous and of course quite far behind compared to you. Gail

| Gail, I asked Rob the same question as his instructor because I wanted to know what made the difference. When I said he had made a commitment to this course, I meant that in a very literal way. His answer to my question was that he has commited to spending 8 to 12 hours a day on his studies. This dedication has certainly paid off for him in terms of his understanding and knowledge gained from his studies. As an instructor, I realize that not everyone is able to devote that number of hours per week to the course, but from the very beginning we have recommended spending a minimum of 25 hours per week, and with the enrollment of the 9-month students last fall our recommendation was this program required a commitment of at least 30 hours per week of consistent studying.

Hi Ann,
I'm curious...did Rob have a medical background before he began this program? ~Kristi
