| Actually, there WILL be an installation ceremony, of sorts, at your first meeting of the year, where all your officers are formally "installed"! I would suggest that the new officers start right now and plan ahead for that. I can't tell you how VERY EXCITED I am (much more than usual!)  about this chapter, and am SO PROUD to be an M-TEC graduate and be a member of this wonderful chapter that has nowhere to go but up!!! Every single candidate was AWESOME, and you should all be congratulated. I wish you could have all won, but we need to look to you to help to chair the committees and support the Mission Possible initiatives, so keep that enthusiasm going! I have to tell you that along with Susan and Kathy, I am in complete amazement of the success of this chapter so far. Starting from the unheard of response to the informational that we did in the chat room, to having 4 or 5 candidates for each office (where some chapters are struggling to find just 1), to having 312 members (over half members of AHDI), to have 60% response to voting (normal for AHDI is 20 to 25%), you have set the standard for the ENTIRE ASSOCIATION! However, now that you have set this standard, people will be looking at you for guidance, to see how and why you are successful... so I encourage you to THINK AND DO OUTSIDE THE BOX! Try new things! Set new standards! WE ARE M-TEC, HEAR US ROAR!!! As always, I will be involved just as much as I possibly can in this grand new chapter, and will do whatever I can do to make it the successful and awesome chapter that I know it can be! Now... M-TEC, START YOUR ENGINES!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations, everyone! If I may make a suggestion, when the first meeting comes and we have all the new officers officially step up to do their duties, we must end the ceremony with gianormous amounts of chocolate to celebrate!
